Republican Senator John McCain, who himself was held and tortured by Vietnamese forces, said the CIA have done "little practical good" in their actions against suspected terrorists.
CIA director John Brennan, one of Barrack Obama's long-time advisors said that the CIA's policy on suspected terrorists "e;had shortcomings and that the agency made mistakes."
