A deal has been agreed by all Northern Ireland Assembly parties after marathon talks which continued through the night.

Prime Minister David Cameron said he was "delighted" that an agreement had been met.

The deal was agreed in order to set out a plan for welfare and financial reform.

DUP leader Peter Robinson said his party would be backing the deal, which is worth £2bn in financial backing from the Westminster government.

SDLP leader Alasdair McDonnell said that his party was disappointed with the deal, and that it doesn't address issues on parading and "falls short" on many of the proposals put forward in recent talks chaired by Richard Haass and Meghan O'Sullivan.

UUP leader Mike Nesbitt said the his party couldn't endorse all of the proposals, but would back the deal as much as possible.

David Ford of Alliance said the agreement does not go far enough to meet the needs of the Northern Irish people.
