Logan Crawford, who died after tragic cliff fall
A seven-year-old boy has died after falling from cliffs in Ballycastle.
Logan Crawford, from Ballycastle, was playing with friends near a holiday park when it is believed he fell from a cliff.
The tragic accident happened on Sunday evening.
The Ballycastle Integrated Primary School pupil had been reported missing before being found roughly and hour later.
He was taken to hospital by helicopter but sadly died from his injuries.
His classmates have been offered counselling today.
SDLP councillor Donal Cunningham said: "This is absolutely heartbreaking news and my heart goes out to the little boy's family and friends.
"It is a terrible tragedy and I know the entire area will be deeply saddened at the devastating news of such an untimely death of a young child.
"My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones at this very sad time."
The cliffs at Ballycastle are 365ft high in some parts.
Just a few weeks ago, an American tourist died after falling from them.
