The PSNI are to take part in the New York St Patrick's Day parade.
It will be the first time the PSNI has taken part in the iconic parade which is over 250 years old.
Six police officers who participated in the World Police and Fire Games in Belfast last summer will be led by a Chief Inspector from the PSNI.
Assistant Chief Constable Alistair Finlay said: "We are delighted to have six officers in New York representing the PSNI and participating in the St Patrick's Day Parade."
The officers will march alongside garda officers who will also be taking part in the parade.
