A judge has issued a warrant for the arrest of retired Northern Ireland footballer Keith Gillespie.
Gillespie, 39, of Ballycrochan Avenue, Bangor, County Down failed to turn up at Newtownards Magistrate's Court.
Having heard how there was "no response" when 39-year-old Gillespie was called at the court, District Judge Mark Hamill issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
The former winger for Leicester, Newcastle Utd, Manchester United, had been due to appear, charged with breaching a non-molestation order on January 21 this year by being "in the vicinity of the Hamilton Road".
A police officer told the court he believes he could connect Gillespie to the offence.
Judge Hamill said that by failing to turn up to court, Gillespie had breached his bail so he was issuing a warrant for his arrest.
Gillespie won 86 international caps for Northern Ireland during his career.
